I love fat

(Larsen) #1

I really love the feeling of eating fat. And the more I eat the leaner and healthier I get, at least it feels that way :hugs:

(Wendy) #2

Me too! I even enjoy eating butter from time to time. When I stall, I eat more!

The two of you have definitely found the Keto secret :cut_of_meat::bacon::two_hearts:

I love fat but spent most of my life low fat due to the misleading science.

who will make it up for me for my lost life without steak .:joy:

We should take whoever responsible for the dietery guide lines to court( if he is a life )

I have a physical reaction to eating it, including to my brain haha It’s relaxing and satisfying (just ate my bacony breakfast!)

I eat very slowly and enjoy the overall experience at my trough.

Yay for fat! I’ve always loved it, and never understood my friends who spoke of things being ‘too rich’ for them to eat. (Say wut?)

My favourite keto snack is a chunk of unsalted continental butter, wrapped in a slice of Jarlsberg cheese. The taste of fatty dairy and in particular the mouthfeel… mmmmmm…

(bulkbiker) #7

I dip my unsalted butter into sea salt for the extra crunch…

#8

I love pecans, butter and salt.

(Liz Wildermann) #9

I love mushrooms cooked with whipping cream over eggs (cooked in butter and olive oil) or chicken.

(Allie) #10

@Happyheart only when you’re keto do the specific tastes and qualities of different butters matter so much :joy:

I never really cared for fat very much until I went full on Keto, even after years of Low Carb. I think about all those years I spent carefully carving away the fat from my steaks, and never really liking mayo or sour cream very much. Oh, I’d save bacon grease but it would just go rancid. Now after Keto, you can be sure I’m making up for lost time! I can’t keep bacon grease around, it seems to disappear so fast and mayo/sour cream are quite tasty on a spoon. My dog used to adore me but now, not so much.

I love my 80g of fat each day

(Holley Reeves) #13

 love it! Sounds like a great pretzel alternative

I cut out all confections a year ago then went keto about 4 months ago. I like the changes. I can sort of remember that I enjoyed eating carbs but I’ have no trouble resisting them.
