I can’t seem to get enough over easy fried eggs… they are so delicious…

I’m at work right now thinking about them… so much so I had to make this post!

I’m the worst support for addiction, I can eat eggs and bacon every meal for weeks… I force myself into variety for my Hubby

I am also at work thinking of eggs. Lots of fluffy, scrambled eggs. With cheese. And bacon. Lots and lots of bacon :bacon: :bacon:

Ribeye-the more often I eat it - the more I want to eat it.

Bacon never gets old. But my addiction is probably nuts… and… almond butter by the spoonful. And did I mention cream drinking?

I love eggs so much I got backyard chickens! Now, once in awhile I do get a bit tired of them. But it never lasts long

we go through about 6 dozen a week with our family of 4… i wonder how many chickens we would even need…

Wow, you have me beat! I have a family of 4 but the other 3 only eat eggs occasionally. I eat several almost every day. I bake stuff too, like quiches and other keto goods so I go through about 18 in a slow week. I have 4 laying hens. They produced 4 eggs a day over the winter, but their production goes up as the days grow longer. Last summer they were only 6 months old but were laying up to 2-3 eggs per hen per day. I think it varies with breed. I have a “heritage” breed called Speckled Sussex that are classified as both layers and meat. A breed classified as good layers may produce more eggs than mine. One tip if you get chickens, provide them with plenty of room! I’ve had to coop mine this spring so they don’t eat my garden seeds/sprouts and I’ve noticed a real change in the color and thickness of their shells even though they have a constant supply of high-quality lay feed. I think the eggs are just better when they’re foraging for buggies and worms! I’ll be letting mine free roam again once the garden veggies are big enough to hold up to their scratching and pecking.

My heart belongs to peanut butter! I’m glad our grocery store has an all natural version of it that I don’t feel guilty eating. I’m also happy that the stuff finally tastes sweet. I can’t imagine with the sugar loaded stuff would do to me at this point.

I’m also addicted to using cloud bread to get said peanut butter into me. Why I never tried this stuff before this year I’ll never know. So simple, so quick, sooooo gooooooodddddd…(like you guys said, it’s all about the eggies!).

This is mine. I have to limit how much I buy.

(Duncan Kerridge) #14

This, especially the crunchy stuff. And 100% chocolate. When I started keto I saw several people mentioning they ate butter straight from the packet, it grossed me out. I’m there.

We have 12 chickens and get right around 6 dozen eggs a week. It depends on the breed and their age, but many will be daily layers.

I also love runny fried eggs. I put them on top of sliced sausage and roasted veggies and let the yolk run all over it. Yum!
