Good choice.

Corona light, Mich ultra are both good. My new go to is Dogfishhead Slightly Mighty. Tastes like an IPA and clocks in at 3.5g of carbs I think. One beer won’t hurt you at all, cheers!

I had some kind of IPA (not a beer drinker) and it was quite good. Didn’t do much damage, however I couldn’t finish the whole bottle. I just wanted a taste.

I’ve been an enthusiastic beer drinker all my life and I couldn’t finish a bottle of IPA either.

My last IPA - Big Timber - glorious.

I used to love beer, and it’s the one thing I’ve given up basically completely. It would cause me to want more. I have had a few drinks, but as for an entire beer, not one in the last 4+ years or so.

In a big mug! :cowboy_hat_face:

I have a recipe for low carb, low alcohol (basically, low everything) homebrew. I think it’s pretty good. I dried a sample of a batch down on a microscope slide and weighed it, and found it has 5 grams of non-evaporatable material per 12 ounces, so that’s the upper bound on the possible carb content. Not impressively low compared to some of those commercial beers, but I like the stuff.

Anyone want me to type it up, or are there no other homebrewers here?

Low carb is interesting. I’d be more interested in 5% alc, though. I saw a recipe online by a guy who used Scotch as a base for a zero carb ‘beer’. If I can find it again, I’ll post it. Some of these look OK:
