I don't want to be skinny

Lean with a good amount of visible muscle mass is awesome ! A skinny little twig that can be easily blown to the curb, no.

So here’s the thing, I’ve lost the 40lbs I wanted to. That was the easy part. But now I’m trying to build up the courage to get back to exercising like a mad man… Like I have already done in the past, for 5 years straight. And that’s just it. I KNOW the kind of time and effort that takes.

I’d so love to lose another 40lbs of fat… But I really don’t want to lose more than another 5 lbs on the scale.

What I’d give to be 229 @ 11% BF again ! Or, 240 @ 9% ?

I think (for most men anyway) “skinny” only sounds good if you have always been obese.

Forgive me if I’m just rambling. This has really just been on my mind a bunch lately. I know I’m the only one that can decide where I go with this…

Gradually up your total fat/protein calories until you stop losing weight. Start your workouts and gradually increase your protein. Track your total weight plus fat/lean mass. Keep us posted.

I am thinking that @Ilana_Rose and @April_Harkness will have some good tips for you on this! They both are very knowledegable on this stuff.

Best wishes from me to achieve what you want for this, Chris. As @amwassil said, please keep us posted on your progress =).
