I am eating less

I’ve been Keto for about 20 months now. I hadn’t noticed, but I am gradually eating less. By using a tracking app, I can see that my overall food intake has decreased since January. Being a middle aged woman, I see this as pretty win/win. I’m getting used to trusting that my appetite is stopping me when I’m full. Not a big issue, unless you have been lead astray by carbs most of your adult life. Interesting more than anything else. KCKO

20 months. Congrats! So the orange is calories? And you can fluctuate from below 1000 to 2500? Just making sure I’m reading it right. The chart is interesting. I’ve noticed the same thing too. First that my daily calories fluctuate widely as I just eat when I’m hungry and some days that’s a lot and some days it seems like almost nothing and I’m fine with that. And 2nd that over time I’ve begun eating less. I am actively losing though and my understanding is that once I’m at my ideal weight I’ll need to add fat back in so I’m expecting to see calories go back up at that point.

Thanks! Orange in the graph is my fat intake. Blue is the carbs and green is the protein. Yes, some days a lot more than others, some days a lot less. The graph highlighted the overall decline which I thought was cool. Not often down to 1,000 - those are generally days I’ve done intermittent fasting and didn’t make up the difference. Swings and roundabouts, as they say, to get to the same endpoint.

I am amazed and sometimes frustrated by how little i eat these days. I often “fast” (in quotes because of coffee/mct powder/cream intake) for 18 hours. food is constantly spoiling in my house. i don’t ever get around to eating all the stuff i want to eat. and i’m 6,3 and 205 (was 315 2 years ago).
