Hello I’m on day 5 and tonight I’m feeling like I want something sweet
Today I’ve had 15grams carbs, 224gram fat, 76grams protein.
Any tips on snacks?

Hang in there! Early days are tough. Eat more fat, bacon, cheese. If I’m really frustrated I will eat a pat or two (or three) of butter until the feelings ease.
My wife makes this stuff called fluff that equally soothes my sweet tooth and adds more fat to my diet. I’m certain you can find a recipe here somewhere.

You are only on day 5. The secret here is to eat eat and eat but never exceed 20g carbs per day.
Once you become fat / keto adapted and your carb/snack cravings disappear then worry about weight loss / fat / protein macro’s etc.
Good luck to you if you ever reach the stage where your sweet cravings disappear. I’ve done keto for almost a year and a half and still have sweet cravings.
As another poster said, it’s early days for you and as you become fat adapted your tastes may change completely.
For me, I find the only way to stave off any cravings is to eat hearty meals with plenty of fat. It’s not as easy as it sounds. I can get up from the table feeling satisfied but it’s not enough, I need to feel quite full.
Are you hungry or craving sweet? It can be hard to tell the difference in the beginning. When I feel cravings, I will have some low-sodium salt (for the magnesium) and a glass of water. If I still have cravings, then I decide if I’m willing to slightly exceed carbs for the day. You can make a very satisfying low carb hot cocoa or mug cake. I know some say to avoid sweets while starting, but I say, listen to your body. Hang in there!
I have only been in ketosis for about 3 weeks and I didn’t experience much of this. I’m thinking it is because I went all-in and buy Bulletproof’s Brain Octane & XCT oils… they seem to take care of any kind of craving I usually have. Strongly recommend! Good luck -pw
