Hunger free and Floyd

I was busy rearranging hundreds of books in my library (I really really love books), and suddenly realized I hadn’t eaten. It was 10pm. I pondered this. Hard. It was epic. When had I last eaten? Did I eat today? I had prime rib with Kassie and Dustin Ewers last night, but today? Oh yes. Bacon at 11 am. It was my popcorn as I watched the Viking ship spark. Did I eat anything else? Oh right. An espresso with heavy cream from Caribou early afternoon. That was 8 hours ago. WHAT THE HELL?
FORGETTING TO EAT??!
You don’t understand what a wonderful thing this is to me. Even after three years ketogenic. A wonderful, magical, amazing thing. When diabetic, I had to eat every two or three hours. I was horribly hungry all the time. The glucose could not get into my cells. I was tired, depressed, hopeless…
Keto is a fucking miracle and I am extremely dedicated to it for myself, and for educating others, the rest of my life.

He has obviously mastered “sit” and “stay”. Good kitty!

Floyd, you, and Bacon are the best. All top notch.

@Brenda how long did it take you to get there? I mean, not being hungry anymore? I am 9 weeks in and I thought I was on a good path and starting to skip meals naturally, but the last three weeks I have been really hungry and finding it hard to get full. I am feeling doubts creep up.

Only about 3 or four weeks.

Now? Most of the day I am not hungry. After nearly 4 years my body is used to waiting until late afternoon to eat.
