I have chicken and sweet italian sausage to use up. I found this recipe and am wondering if it would still taste good if I modify to lower carbs by using half the amount diced tomatoes, replace some fresh garlic w granules, omit the tomato sauce and reduce the balsamic by half??? Or, do you have other ideas what to do with the chicken and sausage?

Hooray! Put italian sausage in just about anything and I’m happy. Hot cherry peppers are a bonus! I usually try Anne Burrell’s recipes; I like her taste

I can’t find nutritional information for garlic granules but I’m guessing to save the carb hit from the fresh???

Really, your weight loss isn’t going to stall because you use fresh garlic rather than granules in a recipe.
