How to make this more keto-friendly and still taste good?

I have chicken and sweet italian sausage to use up. I found this recipe and am wondering if it would still taste good if I modify to lower carbs by using half the amount diced tomatoes, replace some fresh garlic w granules, omit the tomato sauce and reduce the balsamic by half??? Or, do you have other ideas what to do with the chicken and sausage? :grimacing:

I love this. The hot cherry peppers plus the pepper juice really zest up the dish.

Hooray! Put italian sausage in just about anything and I’m happy. Hot cherry peppers are a bonus! I usually try Anne Burrell’s recipes; I like her taste :grin:

Why swap fresh garlic with granules???

I can’t find nutritional information for garlic granules but I’m guessing to save the carb hit from the fresh???

Yes, to save some carbs compared to fresh garlic.

Really, your weight loss isn’t going to stall because you use fresh garlic rather than granules in a recipe.
