How popular is Keto?

I don’t mean “here” lol That would be obvious.
But I mean, what % of the US population is practicing Keto (and as a side question, what % of those have went full carnivore ?) Then, maybe just for comparison, what is the % of Vegetarians ?

I’m just wondering how well a Keto restaurant would do (and if their already are any ?) in any large cities ? We have a TON of nice restaurants in Sacramento. But I just don’t know if we have enough people eating Keto to support such a place ?

I would not frequent it.

But then again, the flight from NYC is 6 hours, and that’s my excuse :grinning:

To me pretty much every restaurant is keto. Just depends on what I order and how they prepare it.

I have been spending quite a bit of time in Houston for work over the past few months. There are Keto bakeries as well as keto smoothie shops and also regular restaurants that have a “new” keto menu set on the tables now with the regular menus. It’s a “thing” in Houston and it’s awesome I think!

Welcome KetoOfTen :slightly_smiling_face:
That’s awesome ! I hope this becomes a thing everywhere. Honestly, between my GF and I, we can cook up some pretty great food, when we have the time and energy, but just as a treat, once in a while, it would be great to have a big, fat Keto meal prepared for us once in a while.

Even a nice Keto menu, at an already nice restaurant would be pretty awesome :slightly_smiling_face:

I dunno, sounds gimmicky as any menu has keto options.
A restaurant that is keto would just not offer any carbohydrate options; seems silly to me BUT I warrant it’d do a brisk business in some cities as trend followers leap on the bandwagon, like vegan restaurants in CA and NYC.
