The mantra is carbs under 20 g, protein in moderation, and fat to satiety. You are replacing the carb calories you no longer eat with fat calories, and should eat until you are no longer hungry. At first, it may feel like too much, but your satiety signaling will soon kick in, and you will find yourself naturally eating a number of calories that allows you to burn off your excess fat store.

If you are hungry between meals add more fat to your meals. This does mean adding calories but calories don’t matter as much when on keto. They matter, but you can have more calories and still get weight loss. The important thing for weight loss is to keep your insulin down and to do this the 1st thing you need to give up is eating between meals. Giving up snacks is hard if you are hungry between meals.
