How long did it take you to...?

My question is, how long did it take you to really start feeling the true high of Keto, feeling clarity and overall well being?
I’ve been doing strict Keto for 12 weeks bc of my T2D diagnosis. Prior to the Keto diet, I was a true carbaholic in every sense. Carbs/sugar was life. Junk, junk and more junk.
So 12 weeks in, I feel Ike I should be feeling way better than I do. This is a massive switch in eating for me, I’m getting vitamins and nutrients now that I didn’t come close to previously.
I’m not complaining, please don’t get me wrong!!! I’ve lost 35 pounds in 12 weeks which is AMAZING. I’ve gotten huge relief from chronic sinusitis/asthma that had me on steroids and antibiotics at least 2x a month previously.
I’m just asking, will it continue to get better? Will I feel that endless energy? That mental clarity and sharpness?
I’d love to hear your stories!

Everyone is different. Perhaps your superpower will be freedom from allergies etc as you already noted.

That must feel good.

Wow! Its working for you! About 2 months into keto I had great sleeps and would awaken fully charged…no grogginess, no need to push the snooze button anymore. I also noticed a shift in mood to being very bubbly…but we are all different😉

I think probably around the 6 week mark for me, but I didn’t have the T2 issues to deal with, give it time! And huge congrats on the 35lbs!

3 months for me

It was probably around the 2 week mark for me on the energy boost, but I had been lo-carb for years prior to Keto. I also didn’t really have keto flu symptoms either, only felt like I had too much wine for a couple of mornings. My real clarity and feeling of wellness came about a week after starting an Iodine Protocol.

Around a month and a half for me. I found myself outworking a 18 year old without even trying. You’ll get there just make sure your eating enough salt and taking magnesium. I screw up on the weekends and forget my electrolytes. Mondays suck for that reason sometimes.

It does  And what feels really good is that I just got my newest A1C results back! 10.4 down to 5.8 in 12 weeks. THAT feels AMAZING!!!
