How do i know if its too early or too soon for a 3 day fast

I did a 48 hour fast about a month ago. No problems at all. I wanted to do a 72 hour fast but mostly i see people recommending only doing it every 2 months. Is it too early to do another 48hr fast or even a 72hr fast. Im on a OMAD diet and i just eat because its time to eat otherwise i wouldnt even bother to eat. Need a little advise.

Try it and see. That’s how you’ll know.
Do 24 hours, if OK do 36, if OK keep going…

Sergio
If you have done a 48 hr fast without problems, and you feel you are ready for it, I think you should go for it.

The important thing, as with all fasting, is to be careful to listen to your body, go gently on yourself, and if you are feeling “off”, end the fast. There is always the next fast. There is no shame in ending a fast early. Listening to your body and learning the right signals are what this is all about.

Sometimes, our bodies love fasting, sometimes (for reasons unconscious) the body just doesn’t want to fast, and it will tell you by strong hunger and/or you feeling off. If this happens, just come off the fast, go gently, and then plan the next one.

You’re talking about a water fast?
No problem at all, doing a 2 or 3 day any kind of fast once a month. Paul Bragg, one of the modern Fathers of fasting, did this all the time.
