How do I factory reset my GK+ meter?

Now that I’m accustomed to how my meter works and have established some routine in my diet, I would like to reset my meter for a fresh start. The iPhone app reset data option seems to be pointless since it does not clear the readings from the meter. Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

Every meter likely has its own key combination for factory reset. I hate to be “that guy” but I’ll say it… read the manual. :wink:

If only tech support questions could be answered by guessing what a wonderful world it would be! In fact, I did read the manual and also searched the PDF for the word “reset” which is not even mentioned. But I can provide some useful feedback on this topic… After posting this question I discovered the app can reset the device with the settings option Settings | Meter | Delete All Readings | Delete. Initially I tried using Settings | Readings Data | Clear All Readings | Clear, but readings are restored during the next sync so I’m not sure what that other option accomplishes. These two options are next to each other in the Settings menu under the “Data” group.

Hats off to Keto Mojo support staff! Although I stumbled upon the answer on my own they came back with the right answer in something like 2 hours after I emailed for support, impressive.

Ah, Keto Mojo … I have one of those, too. Had I known that is your model brand, I would’ve suggested holding down that little red button inside the battery compartment.

Also not helpful, the GK+ meter (as mentioned in the title for this post) does not have a little red button in the battery compartment. Sometimes it’s better not to try and respond to posts when you’re not familiar with the subject matter at hand.
