Hotel Breakfast

I have been living in a hotel since April, and it was not until after I started this diet that there is only 2 items in the entire spread that does not have carbs. I have taken it upon myself to squirrel these items away, otherwise I receive strange looks in the dining room when eating. Single serving cups of cream cheese and butter.

Cream and butter are the only things you can eat there?! No eggs or bacon? (I know I’d personally be suspicious of unknown bacon or sausages that may contain hidden sugars, even if they were offered)

Also: I sympathize with you living in a hotel for so long! I had to do that for 6-ish month when I was 9 and loooooved it, but that was only because they had a pool and I got to eat French fries and gravy every day!

Unfortunately they don’t even have coffee creamer just milk.

Oops, misread and didn’t see cream CHEESE! That’s kinda nice, the cream cheese… and I’d totally be snagging extras! Does your room have a mini fridge that you could stash goodies?

Been doing that, I have HWC in the refrigerator. I will melt down the cream cheese: mix it with some HWC, pure lemon and vanilla extracts and some stevia. Let it set overnight in the refrigerator and it becomes a nice pudding.

You should know it is called poutine. You are Canadian. I miss poutine.

I must argue this. There was no cheese involved, so no poutine! :stuck_out_tongue:

Prostrating one’s self before you Oh, please forgive me gracious Canadian. I made a grave error.

@Colaer Yo Brendan, I feel your pain. Sometimes those breakfasts aren’t all that plentiful. I really like it when they’ve got the hard-boiled eggs with the shells already off them = luxury.

They have that at the hotel next door, too bad for me though.
