Hot Tea

(Rachel) #1

I love hot tea. I drink plain black and green but also love trying new flavors. Is that okay on a low carb diet? I am nervous that it isn’t… haha. But I’ve had a hard time finding some nutrition facts for some different kinds. A few I’ve actually found have said zero or less than one. Opinions?

Tea is super ok. My deal is, if it doesn’t taste sweet, it’s safe.

There are some fruit teas I am suspicious of, so I don’t use them.

Yay  Thank you!

My experience with tea is the same as @Brenda’s. The one that usually ends up with sugar or sweetener are the chai-based or chai-related ones. So, be careful of any chai mixes or things like that.

What type of tea would that be? I drink tea, mostly plain black tea earl grey, but sometimes I’ll have “fruit” tea, which is mostly black tea still but with a bit of dried fruit and berries, about 5%.

Any, really. Lol. Just whichever ones I see and am interested in trying!
