Homemade ghee

I have just made my first batch of ghee in the slow cooker. I used about 75% unsalted and 25% salted. Wonderful. I’m very pleased with the result. I thought I’d better taste the crusty stuff that I filtered out…research you know! Anyways its joyous. I’ve eaten all the crunchy bits. I’ve scraped out everything in the bottom of the pot. Licked every spoon. Have I defeated the whole object of making the ghee health wise do you think? Actually the crunchy bits taste even better than the ghee.

the crunchy bits will be the removed/seperated lactose/dairy won’t they? not sure how good or bad that is really, but I removed all that…

As far as I’m aware I’m not lactose intolerant. It was delicious tho. :ok_hand:
