Homemade coconut milk keto?

I’ve been drinking a lot of homemade coconut milk and have no idea what the carb content is; is this something I should be concerned about? I don’t sweeten it and I use unsweetened coconut to make it. I’m drinking 4-5c/day.

So I’m not positive on the carbs, but I am sure it has some given coconut’s natural sweetness.

Leeann Vogul has a homemade coconut milk recipe on her blog, and is a follower of keto, so I can’t imagine it is too horrible!

Thanks! Leanne included the nutritional information which says 6g carbs per cup, which means I’ve been consuming 24g/day minimum carbs just in coconut milk!!! :scream: oops. Be careful everyone.

I must have missed the nutritional content! At least now we know, I would cut down and replace a few cups with a cup of water when you are craving it. Or perhaps a coconut La Criox with vanilla MCT oil?

Second the coconut La Croix water I love that stuff. I don’t add MCT oil, I like it straight up.
