Hello everybody!

Looking for suggestions on when the best time to do my workout…I’ve gone back to IF (16:8) and it’s not as bad as I thought it would be! should I be doing my hiit’s while I’m still fasting? Or later in the day after I’ve eaten?

I managed to put myself off exercise after reading that it can kick me out of ketosis (I used those stupid ketones sticks but I have since ditched them) but I’m ready to go at it again. I just want to do it right.

What do you guys do?

I personally do them in the morning, before eating. I’ve done them up to 36 hours of not eating, and was doing that for a while. Now, I’m averaging only about 9-10 hours between eating the night before and exercising in the morning.

I usually do both Body by Science (weight lifting to failure) followed by HIIT. The only detriment is that sometimes I can’t make it to say noon, which is where my 8 hours of eating for the day would be (I often don’t get home until 6:30pm or 7PM). I often eat 10am, 10:30 am, 11 am. I won’t eat again until dinner, but this extends the 8 hours to 10 or so.

So, I think it depends on how hungry you get and when you want to eat.

And eat when you are hungry
