30 lbs heavier now, but I’m going to get back to that weight one day!

Not even remotely close to it. I weighed 119 pounds and modeled in the 10th grade.

My lowest weight that I know of was when I was 15 and we’d been weighed for some sort of fitness test. I wouldn’t have remembered that weight to save my life. But my now-husband was interested in me at the time and, being a fitness buff, wanted to check out my fitness levels and snuck a peek at my results. (It sounds slightly creepy now, but don’t judge him, he was a 15 year old boy )

Anyway, it was 166. After roughly a decade in the 200s, I am 173.4 today! So close to being there, but a fair amount left to lose after that!

I’m about 15 lbs heavier now. I’m about 157 and was just over 140 in high school. I was on multiple varsity sports teams though, and hadn’t had 3 kids and developed arthritis yet, so even if I get back to 145, it won’t look the same 27 years later. LOL

I am exactly at my high school weight now…

if I strap a 40 pound bag of concrete to my back. :sunglasses:

No judgement here. Pretty slick, if you ask me.

I do not want to reach my high school weight, because I was a very unhealthy 145 lbs.

Ironically, this is the lowest I weighed after becoming a teenager, and that was achieved by eating (not keto) OMAD.

However, my weight started to become an obsession for me, and I’m not certain that I might have been borderline anorexic. (I say borderline, because I still ate something everyday, but I was severely restricting my calories. So, not sure where I was on the whole anorexia issue, but it wouldn’t surprise me.)

According to my BMI, I should weight about 185 lbs to be “normal”. I don’t think this is healthy either.

So, high school - no; healthy - yes.

I was 145 from age 16 to about 30. But I ate like there was no tomorrow and couldn’t gain an ounce.

You can do it!

I was scrawny when I graduated, I actually gained weight in boot camp. I am now at about the weight I was when I graduated boot camp in '89.

I was the same way for years

I realized last March that keto would make it reletively easy for me to lose weight. I aimed for my highschool waist line, not weight per se. I had already lost 10 pounds by eliminating snacks so15-20 pounds to go. Today I’m 5’ 9", 143 pounds. 31" waist. In highschool I might wear 29-30" jeans but they fit very tight because that was the style back then, 51 years ago, class of '67. I suspect I’m leaner than high school days and have a bit more muscle mass.

That looks like my poppop’s car from back in the day :joy:. What kind of “playa” drives a poppop car?!

High school jeans!!! Now… where did I leave those Gloria Vanderbilt’s?

Are you kidding? We were like gangsters back in the day! That’s a 38 Pontiac.

My friend that owns it was rummaging around in it 15 years or so ago and found a half a joint we hadn’t smoked and forgot about!!!

Kids, we used to shovel driveways after snowstorms to buy weed. Ahh the good ole days. Bringing back memories of the stupid stuff we used to do.
I guess that’s what high school was for.

OMG

Ah…sorry, Dave! You were a total gangster :sunglasses:!
