High Cholesterol?

Are these results normal? I’m 22 yrs old, feel completely fine and healthy but can’t help but be alarmed by my lipid panel results. I eat a lot of vegetables, regular amounts of meats, and try to limit my dairy intake. I’ve lost about 30 lbs in the last 5 months so I wanted to make sure that this is normal. I appreciate any advice!

I think it looks fantastic! Yes your total cholesterol and LDL are above range but that isn’t a sign of danger considering the other numbers. Elevated LDL and Total Cholesterol is pretty standard with keto. Your HDL is awesome and your triglycerides ratio is the true indicator of risk for CAD and you are in a very healthy balance. Don’t let any doctor tell you otherwise. Congratulations! :cowboy_hat_face:

High HDL and low trigs are great indicators of good coronary health. Your numbers look fantastic. Don’t let conventional medical protocol tell you that your LDL is too high. There are no honest studies that prove that a high LDL alone puts you at a greater risk for coronary heart disease. The people who sell LDL lowering statins have brainwashed and bribed the medical industry to scare people into believing you need their drugs.

Before statins, 240 was considered ok for cholesterol. After statins, went to below 200, and now I’ve heard of people being scaremongered at 150 to get to 100!

Your numbers look great. Trigs/HDL below 2 is fabulous, below 1 - Stellar!
