I am on keto diet and my cholesterol went up to 192, it used to be 179. I lost 13 pounds after I started keto diet about 1 month ago. I feel great. Should I be concerned about my cholesterol? Will exercise help me to reduce it?

Longer answer: Search the forum in the show me the science category for topics on cholesterol. Most doctors have completely misunderstood how cholesterol works and the there’s more to it than just HDL and LDL.
I had cholesterol much higher than that on a vegan diet :)!! That was with exercising daily, good sleep, meditation, the works!

Also, your numbers will probably come down at least somewhat after you’ve been in ketosis for six months. Right now, your body is still adjusting, so the number is out of whack.
