I’ve been dirty and lazy the whole time, and “still” lost all the weight I wanted to
Hey all, I just wanted to say
I went for a while to being really strict, as a backlash from eating tons of fat bombs and fat and going toward a higher protein diet. However, my wife and I are trying to get our kids to eat better, and she made some fat bombs for them, to add a tiny “dessert” to an otherwise “spartan” meal plan. I had a few of those this weekend, and they do help at some weak times when I want something other than more meat.
I also think things like chaffels can help. I was anti-fake-bread for a while, but being able to pick up a sandwich is great. I had two chaffels this weekend, and it was nice to be able to pick up my hot ham and cheese instead of just using the (hot) meat to eat with.
So, maybe I’m lazy keto with a small amount of dirty keto?
I admit to feeling a bit confused when I first discovered this forum… with references ranging from SAD to WOE (one was bad, one was good). Then I learned being “lazy” and “dirty” was fine with many folks, but “gluttony” and “sloth” were clearly taboo. Live and learn.
Definitely sums me up too! I was also very strict, until I ended up under weight. I can’t imagine not continuing this lifestyle, it has alleviated so many health issues for me; no more sore joints, acid reflux gone, IBS is under control. I’m a long time lurker here & totally agree this is fantastic community
Welcome to the forum officially as a poster, instead of just a lurker, now, Merry =). Congrats on your NSV on Keto =).
