Help me with my Nuts!

I’m in the mood for a savory pecan nut snack. On a whim, i attempted to do roasted pecans in garlic butter with extra garlic and salt. But it really didnt seem to shine through.
Then i tried sprinkling parmesean cheese on top…and that didnt do it for me either…
I need a better savory nut recipe…
Any one have a tried and true recipe?

I’ve had crushed pecan with ground porc yesterday. It was so good! Salt, garlic, pepper and rosemary in the mix. Fat porc meat, some pecan and the spices in the food processor, midway through the cooking.

Edit: did you try grinding them, mixing well with spices and mozzarella cheese (all in the food processor to mix really well). Then pat the mix on parchment paper (or silicone oven mat) till it’s super thin. Cook in microwave oven, or oven, until it’s hardened (dry) (it forms a big flat cracker). Let it cool, break into small crackers. Do the same weight of nuts as the one of shredded mozarella and add a little water to make a not too wet dough.

Take your pecan halves (or other nuts) and encase them in softened butter to make a small ball. Roll them in something savory, I like a combination of chopped nuts and smoked sea salt, and put in the fridge until firm. You can then pull them out and wrap in bacon right before you pop them in your mouth. Or, instead of that put the ball on a pork rind.

Yum. That sounds delish! I might have to give that a try!
