Help For The Technologically Challenged

I’m really bad with technology. For that matter I don’t even own a computer.
So, my issue is and my question is mainly directed towards a moderator but anyone that is knowledgeable can help.
Issue: When people comment, whether it’s directed to me or someone else, sometimes I’d like to “like” or :heart: the post but the option for me doesn’t exist. When I first signed on to this forum the option was available but some glitch happened to my profile and since then I can’t put my email in my profile and the “like” icon doesn’t exist for me.
Any way of fixing this?

Have you switched to “mobile view”? If so try and switch back to “desk top view” even if you are on a phone, by clicking on the three horizontal lines at the top of the page next to your avatar.

The system locked your accounts, because it thought you were using them as sock puppets.

I froze Geezy and bumped Geoffrey back up to the regular level. You should be able like posts, now.

Could you try and join again with a new user name and email address?

Before that, try logging out and logging back in again.

I sense the same Polly. I feel bad for Geezy, so please don’t give up on us.
This is an example of how brilliant computers are when all is working well, and how crap they are when not. They seem autonomous and shun human intervention. Re Terminator !

I made it back guys. To make a long story short I ended up just starting a new account. Technology can be such a pain, especially for those of us that did not grow up with it but on the other hand, without it, I wouldn’t have ever met you guys and this wonderful community.

Yeah, puters! … Just got a bill from the power company, wrong bill, wrong amount, wrong address. All automated. Phoned them and they say they’ve never heard of my address. It’s not on the system!
