Help. Eating out Italian food

#1

My husband and I are going out of town for Sunday and Monday. Going to a Metallica concert. He wants to eat at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant. Any recommendations for trying to eat Keto? I looked at the menu and they will sub vegetables for noodles. Thanks.

Keep to meat and salad, that is what I have done in social situations. Have fun and relax as well.

A fish piccata if they have it.

Understandable
Wanting to stick to Keto

I’m sure you both do NOT want to be “ The Unforgiven “ and Fade to Black “ with too much carbage :slightly_smiling_face:

Enjoy the concert!
Nice

Enjoy the gig - saw them here a couple of years ago, they are still amazing, although I preferred their previous bass player

how many calories burned for mosh pit & crowd surfing & holding up lighter above head for the first part of Nothing Else Matters??

Italian is tricky as many of the meat dishes are coated in flower and flash fried (think chicken and veal dishes). I usually get a steak without the wine based sauce that Italian places like to cover it with. I will ask if they can sauté some mushrooms in butter to put on top.

I’ve been to Italian restaurants where I couldn’t find an entree but still managed fine with the appetizers/antipasto and a salad. With luck there will be parmesan and olive oil on the table.

Had a wonderful pork dish with spinach wilted in vast quantities of garlic butter once. It was fab.

I went to see those guys in '96. Can’t believe those guys are still together and rockin.

Stick to meat, fish and salad if possible, like the others say.
