You’re going in the right direction!!

Weight doesn’t come off the same for everyone nor does it come off in linear fashion.

Hang in there.

It has taken me 12 weeks on Keto to lose 20 pounds! I’d say you are doing mighty fine!

Reduce your carbs more ?
Post a week of your meals

That’s 2.5 pounds a week! I’d kill for that kind of weight loss! I’ve been at it 4 weeks, too. I may be down 5, depending on the day I weigh.

The average and recommended rate for weight loss is 1 to 1.5 pounds a week that comes to 12lbs in 8 weeks at best. 20lbs in 8 weeks is awesome progress!

Hey, check out the FEMAIL podcast on 2ketodudes. Some people especially women don’t lose much and sometimes stay stable in the first few stages.

But there are still great benefits for the body. I have not lost heaps initially, certainly not as much as you. I am seeing other benefits including even energy and mood and am loving not feeling so dependant on food. I also have blood tests that show that my diabetes markers have improved and are back in normal range. This is enough for me to keep going.

Perhaps those for whom the weight falls off are more likely to talk about it than those who see different progress.

Sometimes our bodies are working on other parts of our system and reducing fats stores is not a priority. Or they are reducing the fat stores but we are gaining muscle, bone or other lean body mass.

You’re doing awesome!
Perhaps could try intermittent or extended fasting to see if the weight comes off even more quickly.

You have dropped weight like mad. Your initial drop was glycogon, the first step into lipolysis. Depending on how much you were carrying, it looks to me like you’ve dropped between one to two pounds of FAT per week since then. You’re right on track! Don’t change a thing.

You’re doing great. I have been keto for 4 months and didn’t lose any until I tried fasting for 24 hrs+, but then I don’t have that much weight to lose anyways, but the last 10 are always the most stubborn, right? I’d say focus on how you are feeling. Also I cut out exercise when I started ketosis, I physically didn’t have the energy until I was fat adapted, so maybe cut down from 5 days a week?
Good luck!

I wouldn’t use the scale alone as a measure. I haven’t lost a lot of weight, but I have dropped a clothing size.
