I have been putting true lime into my water and just read the ingredients and it has lime zest and cane sugar in it to the nutrition facts shows zero sugar and zero carbs. I really like it because it looks like a little sugar packet that makes your water taste like lime.
I also bought a brand of stevia and it has dextrose in it and I use it for my coffee in the morning.
I am not diabetic I actually am hypoglycemic and haven’t stopped losing inches since I started using these product. I use about one of each a day but now I’m worried that I have kicked myself out of ketosis can anyone explain the deal with artificial sweeteners to me is it more problem for diabetics what sugars they use.
Help am I kicking myself out of ketosis
I have a xylitol blend I use for baking that I like but I’m always traveling so the purstevia I bought that has dextrose in it is sugar packets that I can carry around with me easier.
I use the Truvia or generic brand stevia that contains erythritol and Stevia. Check the package carefully because the packets can be different from the bulk container, even for the same brand last time i looked.
I didn’t know TrueLime used dextrose. I have TrueLemon packets and it just says crystailzed lemon without a sweetener. Hmmm… that’s sneaky.
i can’t use any type of sweetener. Even stevia triggers sugar cravings.
It just astounds me how many things they put sweeteners in. Even the generic salt I was using had dextrose in it!
Thats the thing I never crave sweets and never get triggered using both products
Also watch out for anything with maltodextrin. It is technically a starch and doesn’t get listed as a sugar, but the glycemic index is worse than sugar.
