Heart Rate

I am about a month into my Keto journey. I have noticed some days or at the end of the day my heart beats at a higher rate. Has anyone else experienced this? I am use to a heart rate between 52-63BPM at rest and now I see rates of 85-105BPM at rest. How to I get back to my previous rate? Thx!

Might want to look into electrolyte supplements if not already. If no improvement, might want to check with a doctor. I get shortness of breath and palpitations when fasting if i don’t get enough salt and potassium and magnesium. I think most importantly, salt

Yes, Yes, Yes! I second this, makes a huge difference. I have found magnesium is key and don’t be afraid of salt.

Thank you. What is the best way to get the salt and magnesium? Bone broth? Supplement? Appreciate the advice

I personally take a magnesium supplement. Especially when fasting. I add pink Himalayan salt to my morning vinegar drink and to foods. If fasting, add to water or just pinch on my tongue. Potassium i get from food but also put cream of tartar in my vinegar drink. They sell various products to ensure you get everything but i prefer to make everything in house.
