Hey folks - just wanted to share: I got back some recent blood tests and my A1C is 4.8! it was in the mid 5s before, so not in a dangerous range, but it’s nice to see it lower. I was a bit surprised because I’m doing what can only very charitably be called “lazy keto.” I’ve been low-ish carb paleo/primal for years, and I basically just dropped starches and most fruits from my normal diet but still make way too many exceptions for family events (and my 2 or 3 attempts at tracking macros have driven me nuts, so I don’t really track). I have incorporated some fasting here and there, and recently I’ve upped my exercise a bit.
HbA1c 4.8 😁

How on earth can you define “completely normal”??? Here’s to staying out of that category (which sounds very dull) and staying in the “completely bonkers box”
