Prosciutto roses! I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day (or any other “day”), and I didn’t know they’d turn out like this.

Blend together 3 eggs, 3 ounces cream cheese, and 1 tsp each of dried minced onion and garlic. Line 5 microwave muffin tins with one prosciutto slice each. Fill with half the egg-cheese mixture. Microwave on 50% power for 2 minutes, then on full power for 1 minute. Repeat for 5 more roses.

I thought they were too salty, but my boyfriend says they are “so good” and keeps gobbling them.

They’d be prettier with some chives or other green thing on top. I adapted the heck out of another recipe, so feel free to make changes. The original used mascarpone cheese and spinach, and baked them in a regular oven.

I love prosciutto but it is very salty. This, however, looks delish!
