Has anyone here tried Dietician Cassie's VIP Coaching Program to lower your A1C?

The program isn’t specifically to lower the A1C but I am tempted to try it (even though it is expensive) because even though I eat a pretty strict keto diet, I can’t get the needle to move on my A1C. At it’s highest it was 6.0 and lowest has been 5.4.

My goal is to see it move down into the 4.0s without medicine.

Thanks for any tips or help you can give.

How long have you been doing keto? I know nothing about the program, but I did do a quick read and Cassie was quoted as saying that three meals plus snacks keeps glucose levels stable. Not true. I can prove that to myself with my blood glucose monitor. That’s why I asked about your length of time on keto. You may not have given it enough of a chance.

6.0 is prediabetic. 5.4 is on the high end of healthy for HbA1c. You are “moving the needle.” Don’t waste your money on a coach.

Dr. Bernstein’s Diabetes Solution: The Complete Guide to Achieving Normal Blood Sugars
that book is the Bible for a lot of diabetics. He is a type T1D who went back to school and became a dr. He is also in his 80’s now and lifts weights, has helped tens of thousands of people in his practice. Does cost nearly as much as a coach and tells you all you need to know. Also Dr. Fung’s newest book The Diabetes Code could sub for a coach, heck, get both still a bargain.

Are you a T2D, if so you are doing great already.

I haven’t read Dr Bernstein’s book. But if I were a diabetic (I’m not so my opinion isn’t worth much) I’d follow Dr Fung’s fasting protocol. Bob Briggs posted a good video explaining why for extremely insulin resistant folks, diet is only partially effective.
