And Happy New Year to you Alex and to everyone else. Whole family is going to eat at our favorite chinese restaurant with a friend of our youngest daughter. All the sauces are cooked to order so no sugar, no starch. Might toss back some red wine myself.

Having a quiet few days before surgery, and I don’t drink, so New Year’s is a bit less fun. But I plan to have some seltzer, and a movie at home with my sweet husband.

Not a drinker, and I can’t really leave the house with my bad knees.
When I lived in a city I used to go for a walk just before midnight. There was no traffic because everyone was at a party or watching the countdown on TV. Then at midnight there would be all kinds of noise coming from the houses and apartments, and a few people would come outside, hooting and banging pots.
Now I live in the country and can go out and enjoy the night sky.

I don’t drink so I’m having movie night and pampering myself with a manicure and spa items I received for Christmas. The cat is pissed that I smell like Shea butter but I’m happy!
Happy New Year! I have to be up at 5AM for work (Wegmans), so no festivities.
Having played in bands for over 30 years, I’ve certainly done my part.
