But yeah, I would say, across the board in the round, we (UK, no matter what denomination or ‘devolved nation’) celebrate Easter and Christmas as our major holidays events, apart from getting out of dodge for some sunshine to Florida!.

St Pat’s day and William of Orange Day are major holidays here (Northern Ireland), even if they are only one day each. I celebrate both because I’m a progressive. And I like partying…

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #23

Orangemen’s Day, how could I forget? Sheesh! :man_facepalming: My direct ancestors came over here too early to be directly involved in the Troubles, but I suspect family had a hand in keeping things stirred.

(I celebrate Bastille Day in revenge, lol! )

We grilled wild salmon and had green salad from our garden. I had part of a Lily’s 92% chocolate bar for dessert.

We had jalapeño popper deviled eggs.

Now, that’s my type of snack!
