Hanging on to the wagon with my finger tips

My Monday evening headache turned into a miagraine on Tuesday that kicked my [spoiler]ass[/spoiler]. I ate pizza late, late, way later than a reasonable hour Tuesday night which snoballed into a full out carb frenzy Wednesday. I ate my keto breakfast and then I busted into the trick-o-treaters candy like a crack fiend. I packed my lunch today but I couldn’t say no birthday cake (twice).

I woke the horrible sugar craving dragon inside me. I am not too concerned that I have had a couple bad days…I am just having a really hard time resisting any and all things sweet. I want all the SUGAR! Get in my belly!

I will try again at dinner tonight to reset myself. I don’t want to get to the point that I start feeling crappy because as of right now I still feel good.

Just needed to vent and share.

Girl, what is done is done. It’s what you do next that matters.

Point yourself in the right direction and all is good again. One blip is hardly going to hurt YOU.

If I get off course, I find it helps a lot to do a keto feast until I’ve got my bearings - eggs with butter or mayo, bacon, ground beef, etc. For me it’s about feeling satisfied with the food and also about getting enough protein that I really honestly don’t want to eat any more.

I know you’ve been around a while so you probably have strategies but I thought I’d chime in just in case.

I normally would. But I am still nursing my head from the migraine so I don’t want to push it this week :slight_smile:. I am sad I had to sit this zornfast out.
