Kitty gets leftovers now???

(Daisy) #22

Increased smell?

(squirrel-kissing paper tamer) #23

You can wash dishes without getting your belly all wet because you don’t have to smoosh it into the sink while you wash?

(Laurie) #24

You can reach the highest shelf?

(MavisArthur) #25

You can now snap your fingers?

(Brian) #26

You seem happy in your posts. Were you singing?? Kitty might notice that. A few kitties out there might sing along.

(Scott) #27

I think an @admin needs to unlock her posting limit. She is having fun and we are too!

(Laurie) #28

Singing and kitties. No wonder she’s happy!

Today, I was in my kitchen when suddenly, I noticed **taste and smell food ** for the first time in my long life. Crazy, insane, and funny! Never did I expect this. It happened after a whole lifetime of being unable to taste / smell food and the difference is phenomenal. Worth some research among you guys to see if you have any changes too! It’s something you wouldn’t normally think of.

I can seriously smell sweetness and all food so much better now after being long term keto

I gotta feeling the answer is going to be pretty anti-climatic. Unless, of course, she was having one.

(Diana ) #31

Ok, now, what could she suddenly do that the cat would notice? Cats are generally so self absorbed they wouldn’t notice if you suddenly turned into a tree. So, it must have been something the cat was interested in. So, food, toys and warm things to lay on. Or hearing the cat ask to go out?

First time you can hear the cat meowing to go out? Your hearing has improved?

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #32

Body odor now smells like catnip?

(Brian) #33

LOL!! I think the cat would have noticed that, too…

(Laura) #34

This is a tough one. I am trying to think what a cat would notice and be happy about. Mine only care about food, play and being petted.

So, my guess is that you noticed that your fingernails are actually growing and that your cat enjoys you being able to scratch under his/her chin.

(Sheri Knauer) #35

Hmmm. Quite intriguing. You walked into the kitchen and actually remembered what it is you walked in there for. Kitty notices because you’re not going back and retracing your steps to try to remember why it is you entered the kitchen in the first place.

I like the you have leftovers guess too because kitty would also be happy about that if he/she gets to partake in said leftovers.

Tentatively testing to see if I might be unlocked from my newbie’s posting limit (20 a day…well, who knew?!) so I can reply to your responses! This is worse than being self-locked out of the biscuit cupboard…!

I can’t quite believe so many people posted to this thread. Thank you!

It just shows what exciting New Year’s Eves/days (depending on location) you all had, ha… just like mine!

(Sheri Knauer) #37

Im on the edge of my seat waiting for the big reveal!!

(Annie Jenkinson) #38

Carl!

Hey, I loooove coconut oil and MCT. I swear MCT could become my next addiction, replacing alphabet letters made of sugar…and replacing biscuits. I could swig that MCT stuff from the bottle… mmm. Probably not the best idea but could make for an interesting experiment.

Wonder what the side-effects of that would be! "How much MCT can I swig before I ____ "

I do think I am sharper for taking the MCT. I certainly focus better…well… I do periodically get distracted by posts on a certain forum, but I fit in a bit of work in between replies!

17.5 hours a day on the keto forum… half an hour’s work. What’s wrong with that?

(Doug) #39

Great thread, Annie. I’ve pictured being in the kitchen doing all sorts of things where ketogenic eating has helped, but nothing struck me as a good guess…

bolt to the loo?
