Guess my before and after picture

(Kathrine) #1

Hi guys!

I really need your help… There are exactly one Month between these two pictures - but i want to ask you guys, where do i look most lean?
I gave the pictures numbers so you can guess which one I have taken first.

I really need other peoples’ opinion because now it’s pretty hard for me to know if I’m making progress or it’s all in my mind.

You look lean in both. Possibly a bit stronger or sturdier in number 1. But yeah - lean in both. FWIW a month is not a long time at lower weights so progress is different & harder to gauge. I’m pretty lean & weigh/measure once a year.

Second one looks like the after pic to me

Agree.

Very interesting!!!

I actually find that I only lose weight 1-2 weeks after shark week and then I begin to retain water… a lot of it and then I feel all squishy and jiggly and then I get a wooah post shark week. It’s hard to see when i wear tights but my hips and the upper part of my butt is very jiggly right now… the same with inner thighs… I thinks my body is working on the fat there…

Thank you  it can really help me… sometimes my mind is weird when it comes to see my own progress…

But you guys are right, picture number 1 is the after pic.

I think we’re all a bit that way - we see ourselves every day after all! That’s where a good photo comes in handy.

Late response, First picture I think looks more like lean muscle around your abs, purely because you can see your ribs slightly less compared to the second one.

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #9

You look so lean that if I were you, I certainly wouldn’t bother with keto only for the purpose of weight loss. Now, if you were concerned about metabolic health, that would be a kettle of fish of a completly different color.

Paul  i’m not on Keto anymore but om only here because i really like the forum.

I’m eating 100% intuitively which means that I let my body find its natural set point.
I have had insulin resistance and Estrogen dominance which lead to a huge weight gain.

I’m eating potatoes, carrots, dates and apples and my metabolism has never been better.

But just to make it clear. I still have a lot of excess body fat on my thighs but I don’t actively cut my calories… I let my body show the way.
