When I started I loaded up on all kinds of things thinking that I was going to do all this cooking. What actually happened is I ended up keeping it as simple as possible as it was less tempting to stuff myself. As I became more accustomed and eventually fat adapted, I have slowly started expanding my recipe list and enjoying fruits of my labor for each new addition. It fills up all the new time I have gained with this lifestyle from not gorging myself on carbs constantly.
hard boiled eggs
pork rinds
green olives
beef sticks
jerky
cheese
string cheese
All great snacks to get you through the craving period before you get adapted.
my weekly list always includes cream cheese, whole milk mozzarella cheese, eggs, kerrygold butter, coffee, and heavy whipping cream… I usually always have dill pickles, pink Himalayan salt, almond flour, and olives on hand as well… with just these items I can eek out a meal, a bpc, a fat snack, a quick dessert item, or a savory pizza crust…
Slice of ham, schmear of cream cheese, pickle spear, roll it up, nom-nom-nom!!!

Eggs, meat, cheese (not shredded) sunflower seeds, pickles, avocados, and non starchy veggies. Stay away from any lunch meat, like ham, turkey and salami since they usually contain sugars. Stay away from beef jerky since it also contains sugar, as do any other store bought cured meats. Ditto for sausages. You will learn quickly that you need to keep your food choices as simple as possible and more effort needs to go into making your own things to avoid additives.
