Green Drinks!

Some of you know about green drinks, many probably don’t. Keep an open mind if you’ve heard about them but never tried them. The first time I heard of and saw, a student came in before my class, sat down and started drinking some out of his clear bottle. I saw the green color and asked him what he was drinking. He said, “a green drink” He said it was for good health and would make you feel great. I said ok, and dismissed it, thinking he was some kind of health nut. A year later, somehow I came to try one myself, after being exposed to an ad/commercial on them. Today I’m a belieiver. Read the following ad; it’s phenomenal! It does seem to do all those things. That ad’s green drink is a bit pricy, I take one called Vitality Ultra Green myself and it’s only about $24 for a month; plus it tastes good; many taste like eating fresh grass or dirt. They contain only about 4g of carbs…WOW! How else can you get your many portions of veggies and fruits for a mere 4g of carbs. So many benefits to a green drink, including probiotics. So yes, you can have your low carb cake and eat it too, with a good green drink.

I see a lot of people with green drinks - No idea the brand. I assume Advocate, Arbonne, GNC, DIY. If it works for them, great. I learned early in my weight loss journey that in my case, calories should be eaten, not drank. They just go down so quickly and easily and leave me with the need to chew.

I had the weirdest thing happen (this was a while back) but for a few months I was drinking one daily (I think it was the progressive brand). I was tired all the time and the guy at the supplement store suggested I try it. It worked, it was great, for me better than BPC.

Unfortunately I started getting pains on my lower abdomen, the doctor checked me for a few things, but then she said that it was in an area normally associated with the colon. I was so scared to have to get a colonoscopy I just quit drinking them (because I’m immature like that) and the pain went away.

I’ve started having similar pains, I think from energy drinks (before keto). Not sure if there was a similar ingredient.

I used to drink green drinks but they gave me diarrhea so I stopped.

The nutritional value of the ingredients starts to decline the minute they are pulverized. This makes prepackaged smoothies a very poor bargain.

If you’re going to drink veggies, blend them yourself and drink it immediately.

Agree. Get a Vitamix and make them yourself!
