Greasy eye glasses - cleaning hacks please

#1

Keto has not yet cured my astigmatism. That’s a whole different thread (the one about the ophthalmologist conspiracy)

How do you keep your greasy keto eye glass lenses clean?

(Hyperbole- best thing in the universe!) #2

Dish soap!

Works on glasses, drinking and eye.

I use these:

I dislike that you throw them away, but my daughter uses them at school and everywhere. It’s hard to carry anything else she can use.

Because she uses them, I do too.

ACV then dry with newspaper.

(Full Metal KETO AF) #5

Bar soap or dish soap, (depending on which room I’m in). I dry them with a fluffy bath towel optimally. :cowboy_hat_face:

Cotton T shirt every morning unless I have been grilling, then its dawn first.

(squirrel-kissing paper tamer) #7

Dish soap or hand soap. Windex if I feel like getting fancy. Viva paper towels are super soft for this task.

Me too nothing beats Zeiss Lens wipes, I have a kabillion of them…lol

At home I save them in a little tiny basket and use lens cleaner spray to re-moisten them when I re-use them, usually around three times then throw them away.

I like the fact they don’t leave particles and lint on my electronic screens (what I mostly use them for) or eye glasses.

I usually use scotch tape to get dust particles off first, just roll a slice of tape onto itself and then roll and slide across screen with two fingers, it works really good to get dust and hair particles off electronic screens.

I have used lens wipes but I’m trying to use fewer wipes in general. I clean all my glass and glasses with white vinegar in water.
