Good Or Bad Blood work?

(Cristian Lopez) #1

So if you read my all thread my blood came back high a few weeks ago and after some calculations and theorization I made some adjustments but kept it keto!

I ate 3000> calories and under 20 carbs from veggies/nuts/non fat greek yogurt

no bacon/fatty cuts/butter/oil/yummy fatty keto stuff

my adjustment after the first results were too eliminate all fat besides sea food fat, avacado ,and nuts like flax/pumpkin/pecan/walnuts/ so just imagine how much oily fish and nuts I had too eat too meet my macros!

my cholest dropped huge!

*note I am trying too build muscle on keto so thats why my cal are high

Great example of appropriately hacking your lipid test and what a difference diet makes.
Given your age and that your health decisions are not all your own this is brilliant and hopefully worth the effort to stay keto and get on with what you really want to do - get ripped!! :muscle::grimacing:

For others out there, remember, even the “bad” results probably don’t matter and it shouldn’t turn people off their bacon and steaks if that is what works for them. It is definitely harder to achieve keto avoiding the obvious fatty proteins. After all the HDL:Trig ratio was great in both cases.

Of coarse,Im olny hacking my cholest for the short term as I know for instance that what really matters is the ratios and protection against heart disease but until I am an adult I will keep part in a “lower cholest”
keto style, In the mean time im not testing till next year so it was orgasmic bitting into a piece of pork belly after 2 months OMG
