I just had some genetic testing done (23andMe and then run raw data through Promethease for the health part.) One of the results reported was that I am a slow metabolizer of protein. Any thoughts on how this might impact my protein needs on Keto? There doesn’t seem to be a lot of info on this when I google. I am still struggling to lose fat after being in Keto for over a year and wondering if this slow protein metabolism thing could be impacting my weight loss. If I drop my protein too low I notice I feel hungry sooner, plus I do heavy weight lifting 3 x’s/week. Thoughts?

I’m considering doing a 23andme test + 3rd party raw data analysis. What do you think about Promethease and the output that produces?
I wish I had some input on your situation but sadly I don’t.
