Gary Taubes

today I was looking through posts on here and came across Gary Taubes list of food for the keto diet. I tried to find it again and I can’t see it anywhere. Is someone able to point me in the right direction please?

Put his name in the search function above. When I did, it comes up with 5 results. (One being this thread) But you might find what you need there?

There is also this Appendix from his book “Why We Get Fat” which is basically Dr. Westman’s “page 4”: Maybe that’s what you were looking for?

There’s also the GQ interview from last year where he talks about what he typically eats in a day:

Thank you John that’s exactly what I wanted.

Thanks all for the replies.

Great stuff! I noticed he doesn’t say anything about eating “moderate” protein ala Phinney. I am wrestling with all the conflicting information out there about exactly how much protein is too much. Being a senior, I know we need a little more because we tend to lose muscle mass as we age. Any and all input would be appreciated.

I know it’s confusing. I thought I was having enough protein then was advised maybe not enough.

Professor Stuart Phillips is an excellent resource on protein

as is Dr Benjamin Bikman.

Big of you to mention someone besides Stuart

Ted Naiman as well.

I’m working on it
