Funny reaction to my food order

Easier for you to gain the 60 lbs than him to gain even 6 I.Q. points, much less 60…

That’s a lot of ass carbs

“Yes, I am, I think. I’m missing out on skin problems, early aging, diabetes, acid reflux, a lowered immune system, size XXXL, and a liver that hates my guts, pun intended. She’s not the worst, it’s the doctors who think eating bacon will cause ketoacidosis that freak me out. It’s the primary reason I don’t mention keto to anyone anymore. Wading through the Duh uses up all my energy”

You said it!

I picked up a coffee to go today and went to the deli area where I asked if they had “real butter”. “Oh yes, sure” they replied. When I asked for about a tablespoon in a plastic dish they acquiesced; but the girl at the cash register was hilarious. I could see her mind churning as she tried to decide if this (butter in a plastic cup) was something to charge me for in addition to my coffee. So, I helped her out and said “It’s just butter, because you don’t have real cream”. There was that DUH moment, priceless! But it gave me a much needed smile too

I’ve already proved myself in that arena, why do ya think I’m here?

(Stickin' with mammoth) #25

Ain’t that the truth. I’ve all but given up on take out coffee because even their “heavy whipping cream” tastes like milk now.

I would have said…If not the IQ addition, then how about an extra 3"

(Ethan) #27

I have had similar situations, and I have a one-word response I give:

FALSE!

I admit that is where I thought she was going with that. lol

I hate samples being pushed on me. My pat answer is No Thank you I have fatal food allergies. That usually shuts them up.

(Doug) #30

:sunglasses::smile: (I have people looking at me, thinking, “What the heck is he laughing about…?”)

(Doug) #31

You never know - sometimes people will surprise you… “Well now, my dear, that is not a bad idea - it would put me at an impressive 4”…

(Chris W) #32

When offered samples, I just say “no thanks, I don’t eat processed foods” I have never been offered a sample of real food, only processed.

I couldn’t fault him on his car but he was a lousy driver.

(Sophie) #34

OMG I Just Snorted Water Outta My Nose!!!:rofl::rofl:

(Mark) #35

You’re not lying. We all do… or did.

(Bacon, Not Stirred) #37

I don’t know if it’s fatal, but it sure is damn uncomfortable. I got some accidental sugar poisoning this week, and I was throwing up and diarrhea sick with sweats and fatigue. I’ll never trust anyone again.

(Keto in Katy) #38

Oh snap

(Judi Campion) #39

I’m so sorry this happened to you. It is going to be difficult when someone deliberately deceived you.

Oh the pleasant things that have been said to me in the past. “You would be a much nicer person if you were smaller” said by the boyfriends parents (we didn’t last that long and I was only about 70kg not exactly obese!). Complete strangers yelling “fat bitch!” while filling my car with fuel.
