For those of you doing this for a while (at least years)...what are your ketones/blood sugar over time?

I’ve been low carb/keto for 5.5 years (started 1/1/14). My blood ketones are now low, below 0.5 mmol/L every morning. I just did a 4.5 day fast, and the highest blood value I recorded was 1.9mmol/L and a 54 with my ketonix. My breath ketones (ketonix, first version) are also always relatively low.

Compare this with when I first started taking data, 3+ years ago, when blood ketones of 3.0+ were common and breath ketones were always 60-90. Now, my breath ketones are commonly in the 30s-50s and it’s rare to get anything above that. Similarly, getting above 1.0 mmol/L of blood ketones now is shocking. I haven’t seen over 2 for a long while. After fasting 4 days last week and testing at night (my morning ketone value is always lower), I got a 1.9 mmol/L.

Oddly, my morning blood sugar seems about the same over that time (always over 100), although my HbA1c keeps (slowly…very slowly) dropping.

Has anyone experienced the same thing?
