My coffee with heavy cream and stevia drops is like having my cake and eating it too. Plus, I’m pretty sure it’s listed in the Dead Sea Scrolls as a sacred right.

It was so very long when I liked my coffee sweetened… I don’t even sweeten my rare cocoa*! But it has cream and that has sugar so I actually do… That’s enough.
*Or just rarely. Tricky as I put xylitol into the whipped cream as it’s mostly for my SO and xylitol tastes good while erythritol tastes like some sweet nothing (can’t explain better, it has some empty flavor…? but sweet). And I hate all the other sweeteners. And if it matters if I use erythritol or xylitol then I use too much sweetener. I realized this just lately and I use it to justify not ordering more erythritol when I run out of this last few dozens grams. It’s a huge milestone for me.
I’ll add chicken wings to the list. I don’t get full off of them and so have to keep count to keep things… civilized.
Back in 1998, I must have eaten more than my weight in chicken wings that summer. Many hens lay their lives down to quench my insatiable hunger for wings soaked in buffalo sauce.
I’m also a bottomless pit for bacon, macadamia, and heavy cream.
I kinda forgot about chicken as I very rarely eat it. But yep, no satiation (very odd from a fatty protein source) and if it’s some tasty, well-spiced, good quality chicken, I can eat a lot. And stay quite hungry so I need a complete big meal after 1 kg of chicken.
I probably would stop at 2 wings though, IDK what is so great in those bony things with too much skin (though the thickest part is fine)… I am all for the legs (the meaty parts, not the feet. I am not that kind of Hungarian. so so many people love the feet, it’s scary :D)!
Or bigger (turkey) wings.
Fowl is more like a side dish for my pork now, it works okay then.
Nuts, particularly almonds until I got huge inflammation in my thumb joints. Cut out the nuts and the almond flour products and inflammation disappeared in a couple of weeks (presuming it was oxylates).
Now my snacks of choice are beef jerky or popcorn smothered/dripping with butter.
The later was a huge surprise to me when half a bag did not budge my CGM by more than 0.2 points.
