Food tracker that includes meal timing?

#1

Hey folks,

Do any of you know of a Cronometer-type app that has an option for tracking the timing of meals?

I’m soon getting an Oura ring since my #1 project/priority is getting better sleep, and I’m very interested in meal timing (evening meal in particular) and sleep quality. If I have enough data over a long stretch, I should be able to see a correlation (if there is one) with what times I eat and how I sleep.

I know MFP has a notes data field on the page where you track the food, you could add a quick time note in that. I have not seen anything that is more automatic, puts it in for you.

If you want an app that notifies you it is time to start and stop eating, the alarm apps that come with most smartphones can do that. There is the project app that Dr. Panda has, you become a volunteer in the project and track things in great detail.

With myfitnesspal, I just renamed the meals. I believe the default is:
Breakfast - Snack - Lunch - Snack - Dinner.
I renamed them:
04:00-08:00
08:00-12:00
12:00-16:00
16:00-20:00 (most of my logging goes here!)
20:00-00:00

Thank you! I can keep notes myselt and was hoping or have that somehow incorporated into the tracking, but I’ll look into the Dr Panda link.

Also if you upgrade to chronometer gold it will put a time stamp when you enter your meals.
