Food diary tracker

(Diana) #1

So I just realized that myfitness pal only retains data for 2 years. Looking for a tracker that I can truly keep all my data in and not worry it will be deleted. Any suggestions?

If you can’t find one that retains data longer, it might be wise to find one that at least lets you download your data periodically.

Can’t honestly say I know when it comes to Crononmeter, but I’ve had it over 2yrs and I just looked back and stuff from the beginning is still there, MFP is seriously feature lacking, even the paid one vs the free version of Cronometer, if you’d consider jumping ship (if you’re a serious tracker, don’t punish yourself with MFP) then email cronometer for an official answer on that, whenever I’ve emailed I’ve always gotten a response same day.

Thank you! On it. I had Cronometer already downloaded but continued tracking in MFP to date bc of all my history……but seems that’s a moot point now that I may as well jump ship.

Out of sheer curiosity since I’m clearly going to switch tracking apps. Has anyone used Macrofactor and have any opinions?

In case anyone is interested. Both Cronometer and Macrofactor indicated there is no restriction on the data. So they will save/keep all entries
