Food Anthems

#1

HI, I’m loving the podcasts… today I heard the reference of The US Anthem… “O beautiful for spacious skies, For amber waves of grain…” and it made me smile.

As an Australian, I’m old enough to remember our National Anthem used to be Waltzing Matilda… about a man helping himself to some MEAT…

"Down came a jumbuck to drink at the billabong, Up jumped the swagman and grabbed him with glee. And he sang as he shoved that jumbuck in his tucker-bag, “You’ll come a-waltzing Matilda with me.”

This translates to “a big LAMB came for a drink and the man grabbed it and prepared it for his own KetoFest… Roast, BBQ, Chops, Cutlets, Shoulders, Joints, Shanks, Breast, Rack, Neck, Tongue, Kidney…”.

So let’s work on having an Oz Matilda Ketofest… because “You’ll Never Lamb Alone”

Watch this video thinking the two groups represent LOW FAT (blue) and LOW CARB (red)… and something that unites us all…
