First day of keto going need advice

Hello

So food wise I’m not craving anything and I’m eating to keto but the one thing I am struggling with is drinks what can I drink but fed up on water drank loads of it today and want abut of a change

And one more thing I feel abit more tied than normal is this ok I thought maybe because I had no sugar and very little carbs still very new to this

A low Carb diet is one of the things that will cause your kidneys of deplete Salt. If you are depleted in Salt, that condition will also cause you to deplete magnesium which is needed for ATP production – which is needed for Energy.

Drinking Coffee and Tea will also cause your kidneys to deplete Salt – 4 Cups of Coffee will cause as much as 1 tsp of Salt to wash out of your body.

You want to make sure your replenish you body with adequate Salt. On a Keto Diet you will need 6 - 7 mg of Salt daily – 1/4 tsp of Salt is equal to 500 mg of Sodium.

Just going through my day-day Iced Americanos
W all the added coffee/caffeine, one can easily over look the above.
I’m convicted and guilty :joy:

If you’re tired of drinking water then you probably are adequately hydrated. I have become addicted to cold sparkling water lately. It’s a nice change from drinking boring normal water. When I wake up I drink one small cup of unsweetened black tea. The rest of the day I only drink water and only when I feel I need to.

Fatigue is normal in the first days or even weeks of starting keto. Your body still has to get used to using fat instead of carbs.
