Felt really odd buying sandwich & crisps

(Ellen) #1

Did the lunch run and bought sandwich & crisps for one of the guys here, it felt really weird even being down that aisle let alone picking stuff from there.

Ellen, the other day I bought some chips and soda for my Son, who obviously is not eating keto.
It felt like I was walking through the store with pornography!

How I imagine it would feel, of course.

Think I’d rather strut around the shop with porn! At least that might be slightly interesting, allegedly.

I carry mail and have a woman on my route that always puts Big Debbie snack cakes in the mailbox. I have a bag close by and when I get around the corner out of sight I throw the cakes away. At first I would eat the peanut butter bars and now it all goes in the bin. It is almost like I am becoming a carb snob.

You should leave her a note and tell her thank you but you’d prefer Almonds or Macadamias instead!

Some days she actually hands it to me and I do thank her. I did get her to stop leaving me soda pop because they were blowing up in my vehicle during the summer. She means well so I ask God to bless her. She hasn’t much money and I feel badly but she says she likes doing it.

In that case just tell her that you’re on a diet and can’t have snack cakes. That way she can save her money and you don’t feel guilty for trashing the stuff down the road.
